Mac only. Requires macOS Sonoma 14 or later. This download includes versions for both Intel and Apple silicon Macs.
Public beta. VisiCue is still being tested and improved. Test your setup thoroughly before relying on it during a live event.
First-launch security approval. This release has not been notarized by Apple, so macOS may block it from opening. After attempting to launch it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, then confirm. Only approve the copy downloaded directly from this website.
Microphone and speech recognition permissions. Allow both when prompted so VisiCue can listen for spoken cues. Select the correct audio input before use.
Additional setup for integrations. Bitfocus Companion must be running and configured to use Companion actions. Network connections may also require Local Network permission. MIDI actions require a configured MIDI destination.
Recognition can vary. Background noise, microphone placement, and similar-sounding phrases can affect cue detection. Use distinct cue phrases and test them under realistic conditions.
Keep manual control available. Maintain a way to trigger important actions yourself if a spoken cue is missed.
